As the Senior Financial Controller, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that all financial activities are conducted with the highest level of accuracy and compliance. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with IFRS and Moroccan CGNC standards, preparing statutory financial statements, and managing reconciliations between IFRS and local GAAP. You will coordinate year‑end audits, oversee the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed assets, and review complex journal entries to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
You will also be responsible for tax compliance, including VAT, corporate, and local taxes, and will support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. Your role will involve tracking cash flow, working capital, and key financial KPIs to provide actionable insights to senior management. You will supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring that all team members adhere to internal controls and best practices.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a preference for Audit & Management Control. You should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, with proven expertise in IFRS reporting and statutory accounting. Proficiency in ERP systems such as Sage and BeeOne, as well as advanced Excel skills, is essential. You should be detail‑oriented, structured, and reliable under tight deadlines, with strong leadership and communication skills.
