Orange Business, a leading global network and digital integrator, invites applications for the position of Senior Mobile Core Network Engineer based in Salé Al Jadida, Morocco. This role is pivotal in ensuring the design, implementation, and ongoing support of advanced 4G/5G core network solutions that underpin Orange’s expansive digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and author High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) documents for mobile core network projects.
• Define and manage the implementation roadmap for 4G and 5G core network solutions aligned with client requirements.
• Lead the deployment of mobile core network solutions across lab, pre‑production, and production environments, ensuring horizontal and vertical integration.
• Operate within a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI‑CD) environment, automating testing and deployment pipelines.
• Design test scenarios, execute tests, and analyze traces in end‑to‑end (E2E) environments, covering 5G, VoLTE, and IoT applications.
• Provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate client needs into technical requirements and solutions.

Required Expertise:

• In‑depth knowledge of mobile networks, LTE/5G architectures, and 3GPP standards.
• Hands‑on experience with core network elements: AMF/MME, SMF/SPGW‑C, UPF/SPGW‑U.
• Proven deployment experience in operational environments and support activities.
• Strong command of functional, performance, and E2E testing tools.
• Proficiency in CI‑CD integration, GitLab, and automation tools.
• Experience with containerized deployments on RedHat OpenShift and Telco cloud environments.
• Familiarity with OSS/BSS tools, 4G/5G RAN radio networks, IPv4/IPv6 architectures, IP routing, QoS, MPLS, VPN technologies.
• Knowledge of security measures relevant to mobile core networks.
• Excellent coordination, supplier relationship management, and task prioritization skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of technological advancements.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Experience:

Minimum 5 to 8 years of proven experience in telecommunications with a focus on mobile core networks.
