Position Overview

The Senior Financial Advisory Consultant will be a key member of JESA ADS, a management consulting business unit of JESA, dedicated to providing high‑value advisory services in industry, infrastructure, urban development, and digital transformation across Africa and the Middle East. This senior role requires a blend of strategic insight, technical financial expertise, and cross‑functional collaboration to support our clients in achieving sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Modelling & Analysis: Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, M&A, PPP, project finance) to evaluate investment opportunities, forecast cash flows, and assess risk.
• Feasibility & Bankability Studies: Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, including tariff modelling, sensitivity analysis, and bankability assessments to determine project viability.
• Due Diligence & Transaction Execution: Lead due diligence processes, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage transaction execution activities such as debt raising, refinancing, and partner negotiations.
• Database & Knowledge Management: Maintain and update databases of project information, market data, and client interactions to support decision‑making.
• Client Engagement & Consulting: Provide strategic consulting on operational excellence, digital transformation, and strategy development, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Required Expertise

• Advanced financial modelling skills (DCF, M&A, PPP, project finance).
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with feasibility studies, bankability assessments, tariff and sensitivity modelling.
• Strong due diligence, debt raising, refinancing, and negotiation capabilities.
• Knowledge of EPC/O&M contracts and DFI funding instruments.
• Fluency in English and French; Arabic is an asset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (BAC +5) in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6‑9 years of relevant consulting or advisory experience.
• Proven track record in large‑scale infrastructure and project finance engagements.

Location & Working Model

Based in Casablanca, Morocco, the role operates on a hybrid (HB) model, combining onsite collaboration with remote flexibility.
