As the Senior Advanced Quality Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing Lear’s reputation for quality excellence in the automotive sector. Your primary responsibilities include supervising a dedicated team of Advanced Quality Engineers, ensuring that all quality processes align with IATF 16949 and internal Lear standards. You will lead the development and validation of APQP deliverables for new projects, particularly in collaboration with BMW, and oversee the creation and maintenance of control plans, PFMEA, PPAP, and other core quality tools.

Key duties involve controlling the submission of Schedule‑A and eAPQP documents to customers, preparing special characteristic supplement‑K (SCSS) lists, and monitoring customer scorecards to track performance metrics. You will also manage the resolution of customer claims related to prototypes and pre‑serial production, conduct internal defect analyses, and implement engineering changes to mitigate risks.

Beyond technical oversight, you will support the preparation of internal deviations to ensure adherence to customer requirements and Lear procedures, and facilitate self‑assessment activities such as Manufacturing Site Assessments and new RFQ evaluations. Your leadership will encourage team members to propose innovative solutions and remove roadblocks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Quality Management System.

To succeed in this role, you must hold a Bac+5 degree and possess at least five years of experience in automotive quality management. Proficiency in IATF 16949, advanced knowledge of problem‑solving tools (ISHIKAWA, 8D, 5WHY, PARETO), and mastery of quality core tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP) are essential. Strong team management skills, the ability to thrive in a high‑tempo environment, and fluency in both English and French are required.

In return, Lear offers a competitive salary, comprehensive social benefits, medical insurance, transportation allowance, on‑site canteen, paid vacations, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development. You will join a global leader committed to innovation, sustainability, and employee well‑being, contributing to safer, smarter, and more comfortable automotive journeys worldwide.
