Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, located in the municipality of Benguerir, is a leading public institution dedicated to research and innovation across Africa. The university’s CoreLab serves as a platform to support technical and scientific research, providing services to both internal and external stakeholders. The CoreLab is currently seeking a Project Management Officer (PMO) to oversee its operations and ensure the seamless delivery of projects and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, schedule, and manage meetings within the entity, ensuring agendas are prepared and accurate minutes are documented for all sessions.
- Draft and edit comprehensive notes, reports, and support the development of collaboration contracts with internal and external partners.
- Ensure timely communication of reports and track progress on improvement actions while maintaining a clear follow-up on deliverables.
- Review and validate documents aligned with internal processes before distribution to stakeholders.
- Plan and oversee internal event communications, and support the logistics of travel, meetings, and specialized events (workshops, visits, seminars, etc.).
- Oversee the purchasing process from order placement to successful delivery, ensuring compliance with institutional procedures.
- Coordinate recruitment processes for the department, including liaising with HR and administering candidate pipeline activities.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain project and operational dashboards using digital tools including Power BI, to provide real‑time visibility on project statuses, KPIs, milestones, budgets, risks, and resource allocation for leadership and stakeholders.
- Use dashboards to facilitate strategic alignment, improve transparency, support early risk detection, and enhance communication between teams and senior management.
- Manage and advance the department’s digital platform, coordinating the creation and update of relevant content to optimize communication and operational workflows.
- Act as a primary contact for external partners and service providers, facilitating seamless collaboration and quality assurance.
- Consolidate, harmonize, and analyze operational performance indicators, ensuring the relevance and accuracy of disseminated information.
- Monitor corrective actions in response to internal or external audits, guaranteeing timely closure of discrepancies.
- Contribute to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities, assisting with risk evaluation and procedure implementation.
Profile Recherché:
- Master’s degree in Management, Administration, Project Management, or related domain.
- Excellent proficiency in both French and English (written and oral), with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust experience in project management, ideally in a scientific or research‑driven context.
- Mastery of data analysis techniques and tools such as Power BI, SQL, and related software for advanced reporting, dashboard creation, and in‑depth operational data analysis.
- High‑level digital and office software proficiency; familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP a plus).
- Detail‑oriented, discreet, and adept at working in multidisciplinary teams.
