Novancy Consulting, a leading staffing and talent recruitment firm in the Information Systems and Digital Transformation sectors, invites applications for a freelance OCI Cloud Engineer (Identity and Access Management) based in Qatar. The project is a short‑term engagement of 8 weeks, requiring the engineer to be physically present at the client’s premises in Qatar for the duration of the assignment. The primary responsibilities include:

• Configuring and managing OCI Identity Domains to enable enterprise Single Sign‑On (SSO) integration.
• Implementing and troubleshooting SAML‑based SSO between OCI and external identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), ADFS, or other SAML 2.0 compliant IdPs.
• Defining IAM policies and group structures aligned with Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) models to enforce least‑privilege access.
• Resolving authentication and federation issues, including token validation, session management, and error handling.
• Providing technical support and optimizing OCI configurations for performance, security, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), covering Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, and Identity Domains.
• Practical experience in SSO configuration and identity federation using SAML 2.0, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
• Proficiency in integrating Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), ADFS, or other identity providers with OCI.
• Knowledge of hybrid identity synchronization between on‑premise Active Directory and OCI IAM.
• Experience in network configuration, including routing, VPN, and OCI FastConnect.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, autonomy, and the ability to document architectures and procedures clearly.

Preferred certifications include Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate and Microsoft Entra ID Administrator Associate (optional). Previous experience in identity migration projects to OCI and a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable identity solutions are highly valued.
